Referral questions
Do I need to have been paid myself first?
No. You can share your link as soon as you have an account. Referral payments go to the bank account we verified on your claim.
When do I get the £50?
Within 5 working days of your friend's refund being paid out by HMRC. You can see each referral's status in the app.
What if my friend is not owed anything?
Nothing is paid, to them or to you. The check is still free for them.
Is there a limit?
No. £50 per paid referral, with a £50 bonus at five, so £250 for five friends. It continues at £50 each after that.
Can I refer someone who has used a tax agent before?
Yes, as long as they are not already a Taxpro client.
